Hello friends and fans!
Chickadee has officially entered its official “summer session” for 2025.
So, what does that mean?
Firstly: full break until the beginning of June…
Then a pause on farmer’s markets due to rising temperatures, fewer products available to order online, and a much needed slowdown for chef Christine over July and August. Summer sessions are time for experimentation and development in the kitchen, for thinking ahead to Christmas (yes, really!), and for a bit of retooling and rebranding.
You will still be able to get Chickadee chocolates and confections at Shop Makers in Kitsilano and Shop Makers in Richmond (call ahead for availability). Orders for chocolate chip cookies, marshmallows, caramels, and chocolate bonbons will still be available via email or DM via Instagram.
Lastly: absolutely massive “Thank you!” to everyone who has helped Christine and Chickadee grow and succeed over the last two years.
